Position Description
Lincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part-time instructors to teach Electrical Maintenance courses at the college's main campus in Springfield and out our Jacksonville and Litchfield locations for class times listed below.
Springfield Campus
  • Monday - Thursday mornings, 8:00 AM - 12:50 PM
  • Monday - Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM - 9:50 PM

Litchfield Campus
  • Monday - Friday mornings, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
  • Monday - Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM - 9:50 PM

Jacksonville Campus
  • Monday - Friday afternoons, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
  • Monday - Thursday evenings, 5:00 PM - 9:50 PM

As an Adjunct Faculty member at LLCC, you will receive one paid absence per class, per semester; free access to the LLCC Fitness Center (during available hours); a travel stipend if commuting more than twenty miles to campus; and a tuition waiver benefit for adjunct faculty and their dependents under the age of 22. Position Requirements
Applicants must have at least 2000 hours of employment in electrical maintenance. Associate's degree in an electrical related field &/or completion of an apprenticeship program (Journeyman Electrician) preferred. Knowledge and skills in the areas of circuits, transformers, motors and generators, controls, wiring, PLC's, solar installation, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanic systems and robotics is preferred. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
