Job Description

Village Powersports is currently seeking a Service Technician Apprentice. The Apprentice Technician learns to perform maintenance and repair work in accordance with dealership and factory quality standards and procedures to obtain the highest in customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Performs routine services including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacement, and checking and topping off of all fluids in a timely manner
  • Performs accurate and quality inspections in quarter time
  • Works and stays productive in a team atmosphere
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A working knowledge of powersports
  • Must have at least 1 year of dealership experience (anything less will not be considered)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Good communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Safety and customer service oriented
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Excellent work history
Benefits

Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:

Subsidized Health Insurance with eligibility the first of the month following 60 days of service

Company funded Group Term Life and matching AD&D in the amount of $5,000.00

PTO available with cashout option after the completion of 1 year of service

Paid holidays after the completion of 90 days of service

401(K) eligibility after the completion of 60 days of service. A company match is provided up to 3% of the associate’s contribution. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

        o 10% vested after the completion of 1 year of service

        o 100% vested after the completion of 2 years of service
