1st Shift 4am-2:30pm
Patternmaker Apprentice
Currently seeking the right candidate to enter our Patternmaker apprenticeship program
Apprentice training program overview
Three-year apprenticeship program
At the completion of the program, you will have learned the fundamental skills required to design and build foundry / casting tooling
Required training will include in-house, online and offsite (Community College)
In-house training includes
Hands-on experience training with individuals in our green sand-casting operation (job shadowing)
Training alongside journeyman patternmakers with many years of experience in the trade (job shadowing and assisting)
Programming, setup and operation of CNC machining equipment
3D scanning and printing
Minimum requirements to begin the apprentice program (applicant must have verifiable evidence of at least one of the below)
High School Diploma and a minimum 80% score on our skills assessment test
Machine Tool Technology Certificate or currently enrolled in such program
Proven / demonstrated strong background in manual or CNC machining
