Can you make 100k as a CNC Machinist?

As an Apprentice Milling Machine Operator, earning $100,000 annually is unlikely early in the career, as entry-level positions typically pay lower. Can you become a Machinist with no experience?

Becoming a milling machine operator or machinist typically requires some training or apprenticeship, but many entry-level positions are open to individuals with no prior experience. On-the-job training and technical education can help develop necessary skills such as reading blueprints, operating machinery, and understanding safety protocols. Gaining relevant certifications or completing vocational programs can also improve job prospects in this field.

What is the highest paying apprenticeship trade?

Among apprenticeship trades, roles such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC technicians tend to have higher earning potential, especially with specialized skills and certifications. For a milling machine operator apprentice, wages are generally lower initially but increase with experience and skill development in manufacturing environments.
