Job description

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain a 3-axis Haas milling machine to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and drawings.
• Set up the milling machine, including loading and aligning workpieces, selecting and installing cutting tools, and setting machine parameters.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining of parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the milling machine to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance, and inspection results.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 -5 years of experience operating a 3-axis Haas milling machine or similar CNC equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements
