Job Specifications
Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:3+years of construction-related experience in the civil construction industry.
Willing to train apprentice level laborers.Objective:Perform a wide variety of tasks and routine functions throughout the day to support construction activities in grade-setting, GPS layout, water/sewer/storm drain work and demolition.

As a turn-key site contractor, we provide comprehensive site solutions including crane & rigging, demolition, environmental remediation, highway heavy, machinery moving, renewable energy, site work & utilities, and wetland specialty. With locations in St. Cloud, MN, and Sioux Falls, SD, our expansive fleet empowers us to tackle any project, regardless of scale or complexity.
Job Environment: This position requires most of the time spent in the field. Travel may be required, at times overnight. There is constant exposure to various weather where the work is performed, including noise, dust, and other materials. The work environment is in areas where heavy equipment, power tools and traffic are present.
Relationships/Management: The position will interact with all levels of personnel within the company including union and non-union employees, executive leadership team, senior leadership team and other department managers and support personnel.
Essential Functions
  • Shovel materials.
  • Carry ladders.
  • Prepare the worksite.
  • Tip and roll manhole covers.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • General demolition tasks.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Communicate with equipment operators, supervisors and other employees.
  • Clean and remove debris from the work area.
  • Additional laborer and general construction duties as assigned.
  • This is a physically demanding position and requires ability to work long hours in the outdoor elements. A post-offer functional test is required.

Skills/Qualifications
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of the construction industry, highway heavy and site work knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge and compliance with all Company safety requirements, policies and safety training. Current OSHA 10 or 30 Certifications preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, a CDL is a plus
