We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Apprentice Electrician – Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) to join our team at a water treatment facility in the Naples, FL area.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an up-and-coming electrician who wants to grow their career in industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls while working directly under an experienced Lead I&C Technician who will mentor and develop you on the job.

What You’ll Be Doing
This position involves hands-on electrical and controls work in an industrial water treatment environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Pulling wire and performing cable/wire management
- Landing wires and performing electrical terminations
- Installing and bending conduit
- Installing and wiring:
- Start/stop stations
- Emergency stop (kill) switches
- Limit switches
- Float switches
- Pressure switches
- Assisting with electrical panel work
- Working around:
- Pumps
- Motors
- Switchgear
- Breakers
- Disconnects
- Control panels
- Bulkheads
- Supporting instrumentation and controls installations
- Assisting with troubleshooting of AC/DC electrical systems
- Learning industrial systems including:
- VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Industrial control circuits
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is someone with approximately 2–3 years of electrical experience who is eager to continue learning and growing in the industrial electrical/I&C field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience as an Apprentice Electrician or Electrical Technician
- Working knowledge of both AC and DC electrical systems
- Familiarity with NEC code
- Experience with conduit installation and wire terminations
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics is a plus
- Basic understanding of industrial controls, VFDs, or PLCs is highly preferred
- Experience in industrial, water treatment, wastewater, lift station, or utility environments is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
