Automotive Service Manager - Fort Erie Toyota
Expected Annual Compensation: $90,000-$140,000
Monday to Friday | Vehicle Allowance | Benefits | Monthly Performance Bonuses


Fort Erie Toyota is looking for a talented automotive service professional to lead our service department and its next stage of growth.


You will join a strong operation completing approximately 500 repair orders per month, with a strong Effective Labour Rate and Hours Per Repair Order above the national brand average. Our goal is to grow to 800 monthly repair orders within 36 months while continuing to deliver an exceptional customer experience.


This opportunity is open to a high-performing Service Advisor ready to move into leadership, an experienced Assistant Service Manager or an established Service Manager looking for a meaningful growth opportunity.


The Opportunity:

Our department currently includes:

  • Eight service bays and a dedicated alignment rack
  • Four licensed technicians
  • One apprentice and one lube technician
  • Two established Service Advisors
  • Approximately 500 repair orders per month


The Service Manager will lead daily operations, develop the team and help drive sustainable growth. You will have meaningful input into hiring, performance management, scheduling, shop workflow, training, processes and KPI management.


As volume grows, Fort Erie Toyota is committed to adding technicians, advisors and support staff, investing in marketing and customer retention, and expanding equipment and shop capacity.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead, coach and develop Service Advisors and technicians
  • Manage appointment flow, shop loading and technician capacity
  • Ensure consistent walkarounds, vehicle write-ups and customer follow-up
  • Monitor HPRO, ELR, productivity, gross and profitability
  • Review performance and provide clear direction to the team
  • Improve processes, efficiency and accountability
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer concerns professionally
  • Work closely with Parts and Sales to maximize opportunities
  • Help grow monthly repair-order volume from 500 to 800 over 36 months


Who We're Looking For:

The right candidate will bring:

  • Automotive dealership service experience
  • Demonstrated success as a Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, Service Manager or in a related fixed-operations role
  • The ability to coach, motivate and hold employees accountable
  • A strong understanding of service KPIs and repair-order processes
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • A process-focused mindset with attention to detail
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service
  • The drive to help grow an already successful operation


Experience with PBS, Reynolds or a comparable dealership management system is an asset. Previous Toyota management experience is not required.


Compensation and Benefits:

Expected annual compensation is $90,000-$140,000, including salary and monthly incentives tied to department KPIs and profitability.
