Job description

Description:
Are you eager to start a rewarding career in the electrical trade? Do you have a passion for learning, problem-solving, and working with your hands? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
At Streib, we're building the next generation of skilled electricians through our top-tier apprenticeship program. This application serves as your opportunity to express interest and get your name in the game for our next round of hires.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll join a structured, hands-on learning experience that combines on-the-job training (OJT) with required weekly classroom instruction. NWA apprentices will be allowed to select an Arkansas-based electrical apprenticeship program of their choosing as long as its USDOL RAP (U.S. Dept. of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program), and that it needs to offer in-person learning, and approved by Streib's Education Director.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist Journeymen and Foremen on job sites with various electrical tasks.
  • Learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential, commercial, and specialty settings.
  • Commit to meeting the Department of Labor's requirements of 8,000 OJT hours and 576 hours of classroom instruction over four years.
  • Rotate between job sites to gain diverse, real-world experience in the field.

What We're Looking For:
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Team players who value respect, safety, and excellence.
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Previous experience in a trade or hands-on work (preferred, but not required).

Why Join Us?
  • Competitive pay and benefits, including 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and life insurance with options for vision.
  • Opportunities to grow and advance within the company after completing the program.
  • A supportive, respectful environment where your development is our priority.

What Happens Next?
This application is the first step toward a potential career with us. Once submitted:
  1. We'll review your application and questionnaire to assess your interest and alignment with our program.
  2. You'll complete a few short follow up questionnaires to help us understand your passion and goals.
  3. Top candidates will be invited to join our next round of hires for apprenticeships.

Take the first step toward an exciting future in the electrical trade - apply today!
Application Instructions:
Please complete the application form and answer the included questionnaire thoroughly. This is your chance to show us who you are and why you're ready to join our apprenticeship program!
