We provide training in cable installation, fusion splicing, and advanced testing and troubleshooting for individuals eager to join an exciting organization supporting the Rocky Mountain region with a rapidly expanding fiber infrastructure. Key Responsibilities of Apprentice Fiber Technician: Training/Learning Operational Execution Documentation Attendance Responsibilities: Works with peers to ensure that workplace and job site safety are a top priority.

Provides insights into potential safety hazards and is willing to stop work when necessary. Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and related equipment. Takes personal ownership of the job to solve everyday problems.

Communicate effectively with the supervisors, both verbally and in any data entry. Collaborate well with peers and leaders. Ownership of personal problem-solving, work ethic, and reliability.

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work site including any assigned vehicles. Identify and act on cost-saving opportunities in process, procedure, and inventory. Has a basic understanding of common tools and their uses.

Document and input accurate data for reporting, invoicing, and workflow efficiency. Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Valid Drivers License - Including: Less than 3 major traffic violations or at-fault accidents in the last 5 years.

Reliable transportation to and from work. No history of alcohol or drug-related traffic violations. Physical Requirements: Able to perform the physical, mental, and environmental requirements of the jobs essential functions: Standing for 8-10 hours daily.

Walking on uneven terrain, including distances over 1 mile at times. Crouching Outdoor work in all weather conditions. Able to lift 50 lbs.

Not color blind. Necessary Skills: Dedication to working as a team and collaborating with team members. Ability to adapt to new work and situations daily.

Understand your actions impact the overall business and its people. Hustle to work hard and optimize efficiency in operations. A strong work ethic that elevates those around you.
