Job Summary

The Teacher Apprentice role is designed for individuals pursuing a career in education who are actively enrolled in a teacher preparation program. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while working under the supervision of a certified teacher. The role supports the development of teaching skills, classroom management strategies, and professional growth in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist certified teachers with lesson planning, instruction, and classroom management.

  • Provide support to students individually or in small groups to enhance learning outcomes.

  • Lead classroom activities under the guidance and supervision of the mentor teacher.

  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions as required.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student progress and classroom activities.
