Job Description
Summary
Electrical Engineer experienced in analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics, low-power system design, and PCBA development. Proficient in translating requirements into reliable hardware solutions and supporting bring-up, debug, and verification. Collaborative contributor with working knowledge of C, C#, and Python and exposure to RF design. Additional experience with embedded systems and sensor integration a plus. This position will involve engineering support for existing products, customizing equipment for new applications, and new product development.

  • Hardware interfaces (RS-232/485, I²C, CAN)
  • Industrial communication protocol experience a plus (TCP IP, Ethernet IP, Modbus or equal)
  • PLC interface experience via Modbus a plus
  • Motor control and feedback interfaces
  • RF layout, antennas, and wireless systems (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Iridium, Argos/Kenesis - experience a plus)
  • Analog hardware design experience (AtoD conversion, sampling rates, anti-aliasing)
  • Digital hardware design and sensor integration (proximity, load cells, Xrays, Acoustic Sensor or equal)

Tools

  • Lab instrumentation (scope, logic, spectrum, network analyzers)

Experience
  • Typically 5-10+ years of relevant experience
  • Designed and owned complex PCBAs from concept through production
  • Led board bring-up, debug, and validation
  • Interface experience with multiple digital and analog sensors
  • Developed and architected DSP, CPLD and FPGA projects a plus
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional embedded inspection system a plus
  • Supported technical decisions related to power, signal integrity, EMI, and reliability
  • Participated in design reviews and mentored junior engineers
  • Supported manufacturing ramp up and sustainment

Education
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field (M.S. a plus)

  • Full-time, exempt position
  • Office and laboratory environment with occasional field or test-site work
  • Limited travel for testing, vendor engagement, or program support

Salary Range:
$113,600.00-$151,400.000
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
