Job description

As an apprentice electrician, you will be asked to complete a wide variety of tasks. You will be able to perform inspections and conduct assessments of electrical systems. You will be able to read blueprints and interpret them to determine the best way to resolve the problems in an electrical system as you progress. To accomplish all of this, you will need to have a basic familiarity with wiring, commonly-used electrical tools, and various components (we will teach you). We're hoping to hire an apprentice electrician who has a desire to become an electrician.
Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities ( we will teach ):
  • Drive yourself to our job sites and assess their electrical systems
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints
  • Use a variety of tools and techniques to repair and maintain electrical systems
  • Use your knowledge to determine the best way to install new electrical systems
  • Answer any questions that our customers may have about their electrical systems and components
  • Ensure that you follow all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines while you work

Apprentice Electrician Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license (Clean driving record-a must)
  • Ability to use a wide variety of electrician tools and techniques
  • Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
  • Strong customer service skills
