The average pay for an apprentice electrician varies depending on location, experience, and employer, but in the United States, it typically ranges from $15 to $22 per hour. Apprentices may earn more as they progress through their training and gain additional certifications. Some programs also offer incremental raises based on the completion of training milestones. Additionally, apprentice electricians may receive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off, depending on the employer.

How does pay progression typically change as an apprentice electrician gains experience?

As an Apprentice Electrician, your pay usually starts at a percentage of the journeyman electrician wage, often ranging from 40-50% depending on your region and employer.
