Industrial Electrician

Job Description

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components throughout the facility. This role focuses heavily on running conduit, wiring motors, and working with automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

  • Run and install conduit (EMT, rigid, flexible) for new and existing equipment.
  • Install motors, control panels, and electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs used in automated production systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.
