GMEA Electrical Services

GMEA Electrical Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have previous electrical experience and be ready to contribute on commercial and industrial construction projects while continuing to develop their skills in the trade.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems

  • Pull wire, install conduit, and assist with equipment installation

  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely

  • Maintain a clean and organized job site

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Transport and organize materials and tools as needed

  • Work closely with Journeymen and Foremen to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience required

  • Experience bending and installing conduit

  • Experience pulling wire and assisting with electrical equipment installations

  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and blueprints

  • Familiarity with NEC standards and construction site safety practices

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
