Job description

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Associated Heating & Electric is a local, family-owned business established in 1978. We provide mentorship, apprentice training, & a supportive work environment focused on your success!

Shift & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (sometimes off earlier, or later, depending on appointments/seasons).
  • $18-$28/hour, based on experience, with bonus pay available per install 

Job Responsibilities for HVAC Install Apprentice:

  • Ability to use hand tools effectively.
  • Install/replace HVAC equipment, including but not limited to ductwork, thermostats, attic and/or vertical splits.
  • Ability to read plans & tape measure.
  • Attend company training & meetings as required.
  • Participate in company-provided trainings & meetings as necessary.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience is highly preferred & candidates with experience will be prioritized.
  • Ability to work at heights & in confined spaces.
  • Adapt to various environmental conditions (Oregon weather).
  • Lift up to 100lbs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated, honest, & organized with strong time management & problem-solving skills.
