Job description

Diesel Mechanic – Earn $27–$43+/hr DOE

Class 8 Trucks & Trailers | Mobile Service Truck Provided |

Are you a diesel mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting, staying busy, and working with modern equipment—not spending all day doing major engine teardowns? Join a stable, family-owned company that values its technicians and provides the tools, equipment, and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and light-to-moderate repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine PM services on Class 8 tractors and trailers
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and air system issues
  • Servicing brakes, tires, lighting, sensors, and air lines
  • Completing minor engine and trailer repairs, including walking floor trailers
  • Working both in the shop and in the field using a fully equipped service truck
  • Maintaining accurate service documentation and inspection records
  • Ensuring equipment is DOT-compliant, safe, and road-ready
What We're Looking For

Whether you're an experienced technician or a newer mechanic looking to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Required:

  • Diesel mechanic experience (entry-level through seasoned technician)
  • Experience with PMs, brakes, tires, and basic diagnostics
  • Knowledge of electrical and air brake systems
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred:

  • Experience working on Class 8 trucks and trailers
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic system knowledge
  • Warranty repair and dealership coordination experience
Why Mechanics Choose Us

Competitive Pay: $27–$43+/hr based on experience

Modern Fleet: Newer equipment with much of the fleet still under warranty, meaning less major repair work

No Seasonal Layoffs: Stable, family-owned company with consistent year-round work

Take-Home Service Truck: Fully equipped mobile service truck provided for field work

Clean, Organized Shop: Work in an environment designed for productivity and safety

Flexible Scheduling: Choose from 4x10s or 5x8s on 2nd shift (starting around 11:00 AM)

Independence & Variety: Split your time between shop work and mobile repairs—no two days are the same

Join a Team That Respects Technicians
  • If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent equipment, steady work, and a company that values skilled mechanics, apply today and bring your expertise to a team where your work truly makes a difference.
