Job description

BHI is currently seeking motivated and skilled Journeyman Electricians to join our Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) division for the Riverton Medical Hospital project. This is a full-time opportunity based in Riverton, WY, where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems. In this role, you will perform high-level electrical installations following engineered specifications and NEC 2023 requirements. Reporting directly to the Crew Foreman, you will be expected to guide and direct apprentices from the beginning to the end of a job while maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. This position offers a competitive wage range of $38.00 to $45.00 per hour, with Per Diem available for eligible candidates. Upon eligibility, your benefits package will include a 401k plan with company match, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance. The standard schedule consists of 10-12 hour days, Monday through Friday, with the potential for Saturday work.
Qualifications:
  • Applicants must hold a current Electrical Journeyman License for the state of work.
  • You must have at least four (4) years of electrical experience in a construction environment, specifically with commercial and industrial projects.
  • Candidates must be able to read and navigate through blueprints in both digital and paper formats and use appropriate testing equipment to complete jobs according to relevant codes.
  • The role requires performing essential physical functions, including climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling for sustained periods.
  • Moderate to heavy travel is expected, and you must provide your own hand tools per the BHI tool list and possess a valid driver's license.
