To better meet our clients' needs, OTTO WERKS encompasses in-house, world-class technicians that provide support for modern, vintage, street and race cars. Our teams range includes anything from basic maintenance services to full engine rebuilds. Were looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Apprentice to join our team and grow their skills in a dynamic environment.


Job Overview:
As an Automotive Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about cars and eager to build a career in the automotive industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Shop cleaning
  • Shop errands
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Learn and operate various automotive tools and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Document work performed and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and educational opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training in automotive repair is a plus).
  • Strong interest in the automotive field and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical systems is preferred.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Fabrication experience a huge plus but not required.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record are required.
