Role highlights
  • Set up and run Swiss CNC lathes to blueprint, program, and work-instruction requirements.
  • Execute complex machining on diverse materials with ultra-tight tolerances.
  • Replace worn tools; make minor offsets/adjustments to maintain process capability.
  • Own quality at the machine using gauges and measurement tools; interpret results decisively.
  • Complete daily checks, follow preventive maintenance, and keep machines production-ready.
  • Perform hand finishing to meet cosmetic and dimensional specs.
  • Comply with GMP/GDP; complete routers/cards accurately.
  • Champion safety, identify SH&E risks, and act to reduce them.
  • Meet productivity targets and contribute improvement ideas.
  • Record activities promptly in the job tracking system.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement and problem-solving with leaders.
  • Maintain 5S and housekeeping excellence.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties, as assigned.
  • Carry out visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of materials, components, and finished parts.
  • Follow documented procedures for routine quality checks; maintain traceable inspection records.
Qualifications
  • Required: High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • Preferred: Associate’s/certificate in Tooling & Machining or machinist apprenticeship.
  • Preferred: Production environment experience; GCSE/NVQ Math and English (UK only) desirable.
