Job description

Role: The CNC Router Operator works as part of the Victory Millwork routing team to process quality routed door cores and skins for final assembly. They will show ownership of their work by managing material flow through their work area, maintaining quality, and troubleshooting problems. This person shall reflect the goals and objectives as stated in our Statement of Purpose.

Wage Range: $21.00 - $22.71 DOE

Location: In person Lynden, WA 98264

Responsibilities:

  • To conduct oneself with the highest level of integrity, positively representing the company and employees in a trustworthy, and sincere manner.
  • Produce finished goods by setting up and operating machinery.
  • Constantly driven to provide high quality finished products.
  • Become familiar with multiple operating systems across multiple machines.
  • Maintain safety standards; follow safety requirements and guidelines.
  • Ensure quality of products by taking measurements of processed materials and ensuring routes are within tolerance.
  • Maintain machinery and equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Maintain continuity among shifts through accurate documentation and communication of machine actions, complete and incomplete jobs, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Encourage a collaborative, team-oriented work climate.

  1. Safety: Supports and adheres to safety and quality standards and procedures (JHA's/SOP's). Works towards safety improvements.
  2. Attendance: Reliable and shows up to work on time every day. Sets the example for the team. Flexible to work hours needed to meet customer demand.
  3. Communication: Frequent communication and support with Supervisor. Able to execute a clear and specific work plan. Can express ideas and process improvements verbally and with documentation.

Ability and willingness to stop process to take corrective action when product does not meet customer expectations or tolerances. Works to achieve department's goals within the team.
  5. Work Quality: Exceeds quality standards while completing work in a thorough and accurate manner. Able to take on more complex orders. Sets an example for others. Expert knowledge in work area to drive quality outcomes.
  6. Productivity/Initiative: Participates in departmental process improvement. Leads small initiatives. Effective, high-volume producer. Consistently meets or exceeds work deadlines. Seeks new assignments.

HOURS: Full-Time, 6:00am- 3:45 pm, M-F
