About the Role:
Automation Technician I should excel in either Mechanical or Electrical assembly. The Lead Automation Technician will verify qualifications. Growth into the other disciplines will be expected and documented in a training matrix.
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to utilize and understand engineering drawings, building, wiring, and qualifying sub-assemblies, main assemblies, and final machines.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical problems as they may arise.
  • Proactively and communicate with other departments for solutions.
  • Ability to set up final systems in accordance with internal quality acceptance measures.
  • Ability to set up final systems in accordance with quality acceptance measures set by customer.
  • Ensure the final product is meets specifications.
Requirements:
  • Two years of manufacturing experience in a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred.
  • Experience in A.C., D.C., and three-phase wiring.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Conceptual knowledge of pneumatics and servo-drive motors.
  • Experience as a commercial electrician or machine/automation maintenance technician is preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time, travel can be one to three weeks per trip. (Required)
  • Willing to train the right candidate with minimal experience and certifications for an apprentice role.
  • Working daily onsite at Muller Technology CO, Inc. with expectation of no less than 40 hours worked weekly.
