About Happy Days ABA
Join our dynamic team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will design, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral therapy programs grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your expertise will help promote positive behavior change, enhance communication skills, and foster independence for clients across diverse settings. Duties

  • Develop comprehensive behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

  • Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and establish treatment goals.

  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including ABA strategies, to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.

  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including special education professionals, medical staff, and caregivers—to ensure cohesive care plans.

  • Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to maintain high standards of patient care.

  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and ensure all documentation reflects accurate medical terminology and treatment details.

  • Conduct regular patient assessments to evaluate progress, update treatment plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification, an LBA in the state of Maryland, active certification required.

  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum.

  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
