Job description

Are you a detail‑oriented professional with a passion for Workday and HR processes? We’re seeking an HRIS Project Manager, Workday to lead our clients’ initiatives in South Florida, leveraging technical expertise and leadership to optimize the Workday ecosystem. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate payroll, time tracking, and project delivery while driving release management and cross‑functional excellence to improve efficiency and business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Workday release calendar and cutover, coordinating previews, regression testing, and production deployment
  • Drive Workday projects end-to-end from discovery through go‑live and stabilization with clear scope, timeline, risks, and status communications
  • Lead Workday integrations across payroll, time, and downstream systems, partnering with HRIS analysts and solution architects
  • Run structured governance: intake, prioritization, backlog, change control, and release management
  • Manage vendors and external partners to deliver on outcomes, SLAs, and budget
  • Oversee data quality and compliance, including testing strategy, validation, and audit readiness
  • Plan and lead UAT, training, and enablement to ensure measurable adoption
  • Maintain documentation for process maps, configuration decisions, integrations, and SOPs
  • Monitor post‑launch health, report KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
  • For generalist HR PM scope: plan and execute cyclical processes such as payroll, performance review, and bonus cycles


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in HRIS or enterprise applications project management, including 3+ years focused on Workday
  • Proven delivery of Workday initiatives across multiple modules and integrations
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data models, and downstream impacts
  • Experience with agile or hybrid delivery and release cycles
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills
  • Analytical mindset with strength in testing, data validation, and metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certifications in HCM, Absence/Time, Payroll, Talent, or Integrations (not required)
  • Hands-on with EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and security model design
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with project management tools such as Wrike, Clarity, or Smartsheet
  • Background in organizational change management and training development

  • Local to South Florida preferred; hybrid considered. On-site presence for key milestones required.
