Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities
  • Makes presentations on all aspects of products
  • Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer technical requirements and preparing detailed product specifications
  • Implements customer installation plans
  • Provides follow-up support in training customers and disseminating technical information on specific applications
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation, design of experiments, and communication between customers and specialists
  • Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS / Ph.D. preferred in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Optics, Material Science or a related field.
  • Candidate should have experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry, or equivalent experience and education
  • Candidate must be well organized and professional with strong project management skills - including the ability to manage numerous projects at once
  • Candidate shows persistence and dedication to understanding and solving critical customer problems
  • Candidate will have strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Teamwork is critical so having a good balance between technical skills and people skills is a must.
  • Experience with Data analysis tools (Excel, JMP or equivalent)
  • Semiconductor device application and characterization
  • Photolithography and Overlay (IBO, DBO, SEM -OVL)
  • Familiar with cleanroom protocols.

Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
