Job description

Quillin is seeking an innovative and ambitious Creative Director, Strategy & Growth to help shape the future of one of Nevada’s most established integrated communications agencies.

For more than 35 years, Quillin has helped brands, businesses, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, government agencies, and community leaders build meaningful connections through public relations, advertising, social media, content, and strategic communications.

As our agency enters an exciting period of growth, we are looking for a leader who is equal parts strategist, storyteller, creative thinker, and team builder.

This is not a traditional Creative Director role.

This is an opportunity to influence agency direction, mentor emerging talent, strengthen client relationships, contribute to business growth, and help define the next chapter of a respected agency with a strong foundation and significant opportunity ahead.

The ideal candidate is someone who is ready for a bigger stage—someone who wants more than a title and is motivated by the opportunity to create lasting impact.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Within the first 12–18 months, the Creative Director, Strategy & Growth will:

Raise the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of creative work across all agency disciplines, including public relations, social media, advertising, content, digital marketing, and brand strategy.

Become a trusted leader and mentor who inspires teams, develops talent, encourages collaboration, and creates an environment where creativity thrives.

Drive Strategic Thinking

Help clients think bigger by bringing stronger insights, storytelling, and innovative ideas to every engagement.

Contribute to Agency Growth

Play an active role in agency growth initiatives, business development efforts, new business pitches, and long-term strategic planning.

Build the Next Chapter

Help define what a modern integrated communications agency looks like over the next decade while preserving the reputation and relationships built over the last 35 years.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead creative vision and strategy across agency accounts and business development initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain agency-wide creative standards and best practices.
  • Guide concept development from strategy through execution across multiple channels.
  • Ensure creative work consistently aligns with client objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Champion innovation, curiosity, and creative excellence throughout the organization.
Brand Strategy & Storytelling
  • Develop compelling brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and integrated campaigns.
  • Translate business goals into impactful creative strategies.
  • Identify emerging trends, cultural insights, and storytelling opportunities.
  • Collaborate across public relations, social media, content, advertising, and digital teams to create unified campaigns.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop creative professionals across disciplines.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing creative culture.
  • Provide leadership that elevates both individual and team performance.
  • Support recruitment, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
Client & Business Development
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Present creative concepts and strategic recommendations with confidence and clarity.
  • Participate in agency growth initiatives and new business development efforts.
  • Help identify opportunities for service expansion, innovation, and long-term growth.
IDEAL CANDIDATE

You may be an Associate Creative Director, Strategy Director, Brand Director, Group Creative Director, Head of Content, or another emerging leader ready for a larger opportunity.

You’re likely someone who:

  • Thinks strategically before thinking tactically.
  • Understands how great storytelling drives business results.
  • Enjoys mentoring and developing people.
  • Can inspire clients, colleagues, and teams.
  • Sees opportunities where others see challenges.
  • Is energized by growth and building something meaningful.
  • Wants to help shape the future of an organization rather than simply inherit a role.

Most importantly, you’re excited by the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in advertising, marketing, communications, branding, public relations, media, or agency environments.
  • Proven success developing integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring talent, and managing client relationships.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, creativity, and measurable impact.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience contributing to business development, client acquisition, or agency growth initiatives is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Design, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
WHO YOU ARE
  • A strategic thinker who sees opportunities others miss.
  • A storyteller who understands how ideas move people.
  • A leader who develops talent and builds trust.
  • A collaborator who values relationships and teamwork.
  • A builder who wants to help shape the future of an organization.
  • A lifelong learner who stays connected to culture, trends, and innovation.
  • Someone who is more interested in creating impact than collecting titles.
WHY QUILLIN

This opportunity is different.
