Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a Release Management Analyst to support and coordinate software releases, system updates, and production deployments across enterprise technology environments. This individual will work cross-functionally with development, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth and successful releases while minimizing operational risk and disruption. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting Agile delivery teams, managing deployment schedules, coordinating implementation activities, and maintaining adherence to release governance and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage application releases, production deployments, patches, and system updates across multiple environments Develop and maintain release schedules, deployment calendars, and implementation plans Partner with development, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure release readiness Facilitate release planning meetings, change management reviews, and deployment communications Monitor release progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, dependencies, and deployment risks Validate production readiness activities including testing completion, approvals, rollback plans, and release documentation Support incident resolution, post-deployment validation, and release stabilization efforts Maintain release management documentation, reporting, audit records, and deployment tracking Ensure compliance with SDLC, change management, governance, and operational standards Identify opportunities to improve release processes, automation, efficiency, and deployment execution Coordinate multiple releases simultaneously while managing competing priorities and timelines Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in release management, change management, project coordination, or software delivery environments Experience supporting Agile and/or Scrum delivery teams Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ITIL practices, and change management frameworks Experience using release and project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar platforms Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications Experience within banking, financial services, credit union, or regulated environments preferred Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Experience coordinating enterprise application or cloud-based releases Understanding of risk management, production support, and operational controls Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
