As a senior digital product manager, for Third-Party (3P)on the Starbucks Card & Gifting team, you will be the strategic owner of the 3P channel and distribution for North America and oversee how Starbucks gift cards are distributed, sold, and integrated across retailers and external platforms.
As a senior digital product manager, you will..
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for strategic distribution partners, including Blackhawk Network (BHN) and InComm, driving alignment on business objectives, growth strategies, and operational execution
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key retail and marketplace partners, including Amazon, Target, Kroger, and other major accounts, leading business reviews and joint growth planning
  • Define and execute third-party channel strategies spanning distribution, product assortment, merchandising, placement, and marketing to drive growth, market share, and customer reach.
  • Own the annual third-party marketing and merchandising budget, optimizing promotional investments to maximize business impact and return on investments
  • Lead biannual product portfolio and assortment planning, ensuring alignment with seasonal priorities, retail partner needs, inventory requirements, and merchandising strategies.
  • Analyze sales, market, and partner performance data to identify trends, evaluate business opportunities, and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry developments, and emerging distribution trends to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and shape future investment decisions.

We'd love to hear from people with:
  • Minimum 5+ years progressive responsibility in Digital Product Management
  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel management, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in the gift card industry, with a strong understanding of retail, digital and enterprise sales channel, industry trends, and growth drivers
  • Curious, highly motivated self-starter
  • Proficient with the application of quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Experience managing third-party distribution channels, strategic partnerships, retail accounts, marketplaces, or channel growth businesses
  • Proficient with developing and executing strategic business plans while managing complex partner and stakeholder relationships
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including budget ownership, forecasting, business case development, and performance management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience working within gift cards, retail, ecommerce, or digital commerce businesses
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing complex partner ecosystems across retailers, distributors, marketplaces, or other third-party channels

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
