Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Packaging Engineer (R3-R4) to lead the design and implementation of packaging solutions that ensure seamless product movement between sites, enhance protection, optimize supply chain efficiency, and align with Lilly's corporate goals. Provide engineering support for packaging equipment and materials. Serve as a subject matter expert for Material Management and Process Engineering roles on major capital projects. Offer continuous technical support to packaging engineering teams across global sites, fostering knowledge exchange and best practices. Support efforts in the design and installation of new equipment, developing scopes of work for capital projects, and offering technical expertise. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Master's degree in Packaging, Packaging Engineering, or a related field; 3 years of engineering or technical experience supporting packaging operations or enabling packaging engineering workflows (e.g., plant/process/project delivery, maintenance, packaging software QA/validation, digital specification management, or qualification activities). Experience must include a minimum of 3 years of experience with packaging software including Artios CAD, Solidworks, and TOPS/CapePack; experience with packaging development, packaging specifications product/package stability, and packaging components; experience with vendor management, including selection and qualification; and experience with managing multiple packaging projects from concept to implementation. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$113,360.00 - $130,364.00 per year
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
