Job description

As a Supervisor, Applications & Annunciators you will lead 15-20 direct reports that support software development for Westinghouse Plant Computer applications and annunciator systems.

You will report to the Sr. Manager; Control & Information System Engineering and be located at our Warrendale, PA facility. This is a hybrid role based in Warrendale. There is no relocation assistance available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the performance of direct reports

Hiring, training, and developing resources

Establishing a culture of focusing on safety and quality as the top priorities

Evaluating resource demand from projects and developing hiring plans according to ensure long-term sustainability

Meeting labor rate goals for the team

Ensuring consistency in the software development process across the team

Incorporating lessons and using skillsets from two different plant computer/annunciator system products

Ensuring closure of issues and corrective actions

Leading product and process improvements and cost savings projects

Leading resolution of emergent customer issues

Leading the development of cost estimates for new projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Minimum of 10 years of experience

Experience with leading a team of engineers

Experience with I&C software application development

Experience in the nuclear industry preferred
