Role Description

The Site Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving the success of our logistics operation. This is a high-impact position for a dynamic, results-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building high-performing teams, optimizing operations, and delivering exceptional service.

In this role, you will take ownership of all facets of site operations, leading from the front to ensure efficiency, safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all daily site operations, including warehouse, inventory management, distribution, and transportation coordination
  • Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive operational excellence by developing and implementing best practices, SOPs, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to support uninterrupted operations
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver seamless service and exceed customer expectations
  • Analyze performance data and KPIs to identify trends, solve challenges, and unlock opportunities for improvement
  • Inspire, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and staff to build a strong, engaged, and high-performing team
  • Manage site financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Forecast workload and staffing needs, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity
  • Develop depth in critical roles through cross-training and succession planning
  • Set clear shift expectations and lead daily operational meetings to align teams on priorities
  • Monitor inbound and outbound workflow, adjusting staffing and resources in real time
  • Track, report, and drive accountability for key performance metrics
  • Ensure strong asset management and loss prevention practices are consistently executed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse, distribution, and transportation operations
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with WMS, TMS, and logistics systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience building SOPs and managing KPIs
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Forklift Certification required
  • Train-the-Trainer certification required

  • Safety vest and additional PPE provided by BWT must be worn as required
