Description
  • Assist internal and external customers in the proper selection, use, and maintenance of NORD Products.
  • Complete assigned projects through the:
    • Implementation of proper documentation and procedures to ensure products are correctly selected, manufactured, assembled, and tailored (i.e. modified) for specific applications.
    • Documentation of product specifications for use by customer service, sales, and customers.
    • Preparation of materials for training on Nord products or other industry-specific technical topics.
  • Review, design, and calculate complicated applications and product modifications.
  • Travel with sales team members to assist with technical presentations, discussions, and training.
  • Perform field sales and service calls as required.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field required.
Experience: 7-10 years prior experience with electro-mechanical power transmission products.
Skills and Key Attributes:
  • AutoCAD experience or the ability to learn AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with variable frequency drives and basic knowledge of industrial wiring.
  • Ability to effectively work directly with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
