Position OverviewThe Engineer I - Civil is an entry-level position for professional engineering work, focused on developing foundational knowledge and skills. This individual performs assignments that apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria across a sequence of related tasks. They apply basic judgment in the application of established methods and in selecting among basic engineering alternatives, while building technical capability within the discipline.
