The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of modern application development, integrations, databases, cloud technologies, APIs, and software delivery practices, along with critical hands-on technical experience.

As a Mgr, AI & App Development you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop application development professionals, including performance and career development.
  • Prioritizes work and manage resources across projects, enhancements, production support, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the design, development, integration, implementation, support, lifecycle management, and modernization of business applications.
  • Provides technical direction and ensures solutions adhere to architecture, security, development, integration, data privacy, and operational standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective software development, testing, release, deployment, application health, and production support practices.
  • Partners with business and IT stakeholders, service partners, and contractors to deliver technology solutions, communicate risks and recommendations, and provide leadership during significant incidents, implementations, and releases, including periodic evening or weekend support as required.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 7-9 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, application development, application support, systems integration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading, supervising, or managing technical professionals, including responsibility for work assignment, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
  • Experience managing application development and/or application support teams responsible for business-critical technology solutions.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, enhancements, production support activities, and competing business priorities.
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to understand requirements, establish priorities, manage expectations, and deliver technology solutions.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
  • Experience working within an enterprise technology environment with integrated applications and multiple internal and external systems.
  • Technical experience leading application development professionals and participating in technical discussions, with experience in some of the following preferred but not required at an expert level: Custom and web application development APIs and system integration Integration or middleware platforms Relational databases Public cloud platforms and services Source control practices Application monitoring and production support Enterprise application environments Commercial-off-the-shelf application evaluation and integration
