Role Name: Blue Yonder WMS Application Development (L2/L3)

Location: Richmond, VA  (Onsite)

We are seeking a Blue Yonder WMS Development Resource to support the continuous enhancement, stabilization, and optimization of a custom-developed Blue Yonder Material Management System (MMS) currently in production.
The resource will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing fixes and enhancements, while collaborating closely with support, infrastructure, and integration teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Role Type
- Blue Yonder WMS Developer (Techno-Functional)
- Development and enhancement for custom Material Management System (MMS)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements, bug fixes, and custom features for Blue Yonder WMS
- Analyze production issues and provide permanent code-level resolutions
- Develop and maintain MOCA components, extensions, and custom workflows
- Work on interface development and integration enhancements with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Optimize batch jobs, planning processes, and system performance
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
- Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation, and release management processes
Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
   - Material planning and replenishment processes
   - Inventory management and safety stock concepts
   - Supply-demand matching and constraint-based planning
   - Exception management and alert frameworks in planning systems
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Hands-on development experience in Blue Yonder WMS / Planning modules
- Strong expertise in:
   - MOCA framework (development, debugging, and optimization)
   - SQL and database performance tuning
- Experience with:
   - ERP integrations (SAP / Oracle) and middleware/interfaces
   - Batch job development and scheduling
   - API/interface design and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with production release cycles, version control, and DevOps practices
