Daikin Applied is seeking a HVAC Controls Project Manager. Location: Greater Montgomery, AL area - Hybrid
Your Responsibilities:
  • Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary
  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Participate in pre-sale site visits with Account Managers, primarily for learning and support
  • Assist engineers on design aspects under guidance
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinators on subcontract agreements, equipment ordering, financial reviews, milestone billings, and project closeout documentation (with direct oversight and support)
  • Coordinate with Control Application Engineers for control system design and graphics under guidance and review
  • Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
  • Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion
  • Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff
  • Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer
  • Responsible for the successful completion of the project
  • Assist Coordinator in obtaining required sub-contract Agreements or project documents required for file

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4-6+ years related project management experience
  • Commercial HVAC controls experience
  • HVAC Controls System Certification (Niagara N4 is a plus)
  • PMP Certification or related (Preferred)
  • 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $153,300 plus targeted annual bonus in Alabama. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
