Chipton-Ross is seeking an Application Engineer for a contract opportunity in King of Prussia, PA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • Strong foundation in one or two of the following areas: containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), programming languages (Python, Go, Rust), or CI/CD and automation (GitLab CI/CD, Software Factory pipelines).
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
  • Experience with managing Helm charts and data application building (Streamlit).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn contractor to join our ADDER (All Domain Data EnableR) Core Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building and deploying cloud-native applications, implementing containerization and orchestration tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with various systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and deploy cloud-native applications using containerization tools.
  • Implement Kubernetes configurations and assist in CI/CD pipeline development.
  • Write code in programming languages such as Python, Go, and Rust.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate applications with various systems and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, scaling, and performance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, k9s, Helm).
