Job description

We are seeking an Application Developer to join Esriโ€™s Geo Experience Center team, where you will contribute to building prototype applications that explore digital cartography, advanced map visualizations, and web-based GIS experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of user experiences for web applications, digital cartographic visualizations, and interactive map-based workflows
  • Work with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue to build targeted, stand-alone web applications and reusable UI components
  • Collaborate with core development and SDK teams during release development sprints, providing feedback on APIs, beta capabilities, tools, workflows, documentation, and developer experience
Requirements
  • Experience with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies
  • Experience with code management systems and CI/CD
  • Foundational understanding of digital cartography, data visualization, or geospatial application development
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 25โ€“50%
