This role is office-based in Mexico. The role requires professional fluency in English (spoken and written).

Position Summary:
The ServiceNow Senior Developer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role involves advanced customization, integration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow environment, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business requirements. The Senior Developer will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and provide technical leadership to junior developers. The position is remote, but needs to sit in Mexico.

Primary Accountabilities:

ServiceNow Development and Customization:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automations.

  • Perform advanced customization of the ServiceNow platform, including UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and script includes.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods.

  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of ServiceNow applications and integrations.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ServiceNow developers.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow development standards and best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and technologies.

  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integration methods.

  • Expertise in implementing and optimizing ITIL aligned processes to enhance service management.

Specific Technical Skills Needed:

  • Must have experience in ITOM or ITAM (HAM and SAM) implementation.
