Responsibilities

The Abrigo Configuration Engineer leads the configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration of Abrigo's suite of financial risk management and lending solutions at Old National Bank. This role serves as the primary technical authority for Abrigo platform modules including commercial lending, credit analysis, risk rating, BSA/AML compliance, and CECL while managing a team of configuration analysts. The engineer partners with Commercial Banking, Credit, and Compliance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable platform configurations that support ONB's growth trajectory and M&A integration activity.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $98,400/yr - $199,000/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountability 1: Platform Configuration & Architecture

    Configure and maintain Abrigo platform modules (Sageworks) including loan origination, credit analysis, portfolio analytics, and risk rating workflows
  • Design and implement automated workflows, decisioning rules, and approval routing within the Abrigo environment
  • Manage data integrations between Abrigo and core banking systems, ensuring bidirectional data sync via APIs and secure gateways
  • Lead platform upgrades, patch deployments, and environment management across production and sandbox instances

Key Accountability 2: Business Alignment & Stakeholder Enablement

  • Partner with Commercial Banking, Credit Administration, and Compliance leadership to translate business requirements into technical configurations
  • Develop and maintain field mappings, custom reports, templates, and user-defined fields to support Commercial Banking operations
  • Support BSA/AML module configuration including alert tuning, scenario management, and regulatory reporting workflows
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and coordinate releases with business stakeholders

Key Accountability 3: Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Lead, develop, and mentor configuration analysts supporting the Abrigo platform
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures
  • Manage vendor relationship with Abrigo on escalations, enhancement requests, and product roadmap alignment
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes with minimal business disruption
