Commercial Funding Inc (CFI) is a national accounts receivable finance, factoring and asset-based lending company located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Position Summary:

CFI has a Cash Application position available in Salt Lake City, UT. The position will offer opportunities to learn and grow within the company.

We process high volumes of transactions and remittances, scanning, invoicing, and reconciling items from a variety of sources. As part of our team, you will be posting incoming payments, reconciling the corresponding account receivables, and providing analysis of client trends and receivable performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Post payments to appropriate accounts by gathering remittances.
  • Balance daily cash receipts and reconcile them against daily bank totals.
  • Research and resolve unapplied, unmatched or unidentified cash receipts.
  • Communicate with internal teams to track missing remittances.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all bank transactions
  • Engage in follow up on aging accounts receivable as necessary.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
  • A positive and entrepreneurial attitude.
