Job description

HYBRID: This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of any of the Mayo Clinic campuses for on-site expectations based on business needs. 
 

The Revenue Cycle Application Analyst III has the primary responsibility to configure and provide advanced functional and technical support for the set of Epic applications to a variety of business and clinical users. In addition, he/she is responsible to collaborate with business partners to understand the workflow and its interdependencies and make corrective system adjustments or enhancements considering best practices. This role is the central point of communication for an assigned set of business partners and coordinates all activities on behalf of the Revenue Cycle Application Support team. This role works closely with business leaders to spearhead the process, project planning, and implementation for the application module(s). This role is the functional and technical Subject Matter Expert on the associated application(s) and workflow. They demonstrate a skilled understanding of the Epic application/technology and enterprise processes (integrated workflows) and collaborate closely with all associated application and operational teams to drive a holistic and world class solution. Key leader and mentor in analysis and solution recommendations for system corrective actions and resolution of problems within software applications. Provides in-depth analysis and documentation of workflows, data collections, end user report details and other technical issues associated with the application, with vendor and internal stakeholder consideration. Creates and executes test scripts for new system builds. Trains and mentor's application analysts in best practice system workflows and documentation standards. Leads business partners and technical team to define, document, and review business system requirements to continuously improve organizational efficiency. Assists system managers and works with various operational and application teams to help them understand organizational policies, procedures and business operations, and to translate those needs into specialized application specifications. Solves problems by analyzing business issues/requirements, analyzing both data and workflows and synthesizing key messages. Bachelor's Degree with 4 years experience 

OR 

Associate's Degree with 6 years experience. 

More than one Epic certification OR relevant Intelligent Automation certifications required. 

Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification Preferred.  4+ years of professional experience in automation development preferred.  Hands-on experience with UiPath or similar RPA platforms preferred.  Experience with LLM, NLP, Agentic AI preferred.
