    • JOB SUMMARY
      • The Meditech Expanse HR Roles Desktop Subject Matter Expert (SME) serves as the functional and technical expert for Meditech Expanse security, desktop configuration, and role-based access within the Human Resources application environment. This position is responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting desktop roles, user security, workflow optimization, and access management while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The SME partners with Information Systems, Human Resources, Payroll, operational leaders, and other stakeholders to support system implementations, upgrades, ongoing optimization, and best-practice workflow design.
        Key Responsibilities
        • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for MEDITECH Expanse Desktop Roles, security profiles, and user access.
        • Analyze business, HR, payroll, and operational requirements to develop efficient user workflows.
        • Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll, Information Systems, and operational stakeholders.
        • Support implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and go-live activities.
        • Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
        • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
        • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures.
    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
      • Professional & Technical Skills
        • 3-5 years supporting MEDITECH Expanse applications; Experience with security, desktop roles, user provisioning and workflow configuration; Strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred experience: Experience supporting enterprise-wide MEDITECH Expanse implementations and optimization initiatives. Demonstrated ability to serve as the functional lead for desktop roles and user security. Experience supporting HR, payroll, benefits, and workforce management functions within a healthcare environment.

        • Bachelor degree in IT, HRIS, Informatics, Computer Science or related field.

      • Other Skills or Requirements
        • Preferred Qualifications:
          • Meditech Expanse implementation or certification experience.
          • Experience supporting healthcare information systems.
          • Knowledge of Active Directory, IAM, and healthcare compliance standards.
          • Knowledge of Human Resources operations, payroll administration, benefits administration, workforce management processes, and related compliance requirements.
          • Understanding of HR and payroll workflows, including employee lifecycle processes, timekeeping, payroll processing, position management, and human capital management best practices.
          • Experience supporting HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems and partnering with HR and Payroll teams.
          • Working knowledge of employment-related regulatory requirements and the impact of security and access controls on HR and payroll operations.
      • Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
