Job description

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, vision, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the System  Integration Analyst is  responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, training, monitoring and on-going support of all interfaces between physician practices, specialty systems, HIE and Meditech’s HIS (Hospital Information System) & EMR (Enterprise Medical  Record) system.  The integration analyst designs, develops and recommends HIS and EMR interface security and monitors the interface engine to ensure uninterrupted message transfer between electronic systems. The integration analyst manages complex projects and effectively communicates application/interface information, process changes, and technical requirements to practice staff, hospital management and other stakeholders.   Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:  Degree in computer science or related field or combination of education and equivalent experience is required.
Licensure/Certification:  N/A
Experience:  A minimum of three (3) years intermediate level HL7 experience is required..   Experience with the Iatrics interface engine andthe Meditech HIS & EMR preferred
Skills:  Extensive knowledge of interface concepts and interfacing with various applications is required.  Knowledge of the Iatrics interface engine andthe Meditech HIS & EMR are preferred  Ability to work with a variety of departments and diverse stakeholders is required. Must be analytical, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, quick and adaptable and possess strong communication and negotiationskills.Must be able to juggle competing demands and deal with interruptions.
