The Appliance Sales Associate is a front-line brand ambassador for H&H Lifestyles, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience in our appliance showroom. This role combines in-depth product knowledge with consultative selling to guide customers through one of the most important purchases for their home. The ideal candidate is energetic, knowledgeable, and committed to building lasting relationships in the Golden Isles community. However, attitude trumps all and is critical to success.
Customer Experience & Sales
Greet and engage customers in a professional, welcoming manner to understand their needs and lifestyle requirements
Conduct consultative, needs-based sales conversations across the full appliance product line, including refrigeration, cooking, laundry, dishwashers, and built-in/luxury appliances
Present product features, benefits, and comparisons to help customers make confident, informed decisions
Provide in-home consultation support as needed for new construction and renovation projects in coordination with the H&H design and project teams
Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction
Product Knowledge & Showroom Management
Maintain thorough, up-to-date knowledge of H&H's appliance brands, product lines, and available promotions
Stay current on industry trends, competitive products, and manufacturer updates through training and self-directed learning
Ensure the showroom floor is clean, organized, merchandised correctly, and all display units are in working order
Assist with the setup and tagging of new display models and promotional signage
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
1+ years of retail, inside sales, or customer-facing experience; appliance or home goods experience a plus
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Ability to learn and retain detailed product specifications across multiple brands and categories
Comfortable working in a commission-influenced compensation environment
Proficiency with basic computer systems, email, and point-of-sale software
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends
Preferred
Experience selling premium or luxury appliance brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, ASKO, Miele, Thermador, etc.)
Background in interior design, new construction, or kitchen design sales
Familiarity with builder/contractor relationships in the Golden Isles market
