Appliance Service Center (ASC) has been a leader in appliance repairs for over 40 years, with operations in AZ, CA, NV, TX, OR, and WA. ASC is looking for a Field Service Appliance Repair Technician to join the team. The right candidate will have a knack for juggling multiple tasks at a time. This position will report to the Regional Service Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Diagnose, service, and repair various consumer appliances in-home.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality service and results.
  • Seal System repair experience R134 and R600
  • Maintain electronic service records and parts inventory.
  • Follow all manufacturer repair guidelines.
  • Manage assigned truck stock inventory and the maintenance schedule of an assigned service van.
  • Must be able to accept remote dispatching through an electronic device.
  • Meet productivity and efficiency goals as established.
  • Comply with policies and programs set by ASC.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle with unwavering attention to safety.
  • A minimum of 2 years of appliance repair experience or related expertise.
  • A demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of electricity, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Must be self-directed and be able to work reasonable overtime.
  • EPA Certificate not required, but preferred
  • Diligent use of proper safety procedures and constant awareness of personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
  • Pushing/pulling and moving of major appliances

30% commission on all labor
