Job description

We are seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to join our small team and assist in servicing household appliances such as refrigerators, dryers, washers, dishwashers, and cooktops. This role involves performing repairs, routine maintenance, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. You will be supported with company-provided standard tools and have opportunities for on-the-job training, formal certification sponsorship, and potential advancement to supervisory roles or cross-training in related trades.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain household appliances including refrigerators, dryers, washers, dishwashers, and cooktops
  • Provide tools, materials, and supplies to team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on appliances
  • Track and manage equipment and supplies inventory
  • Collaborate effectively within a small team (2-4 members)
  • Adhere to safety compliance and company procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in repairs, maintenance, or related fields
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload and lift tools up to 40 pounds
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Willingness to adapt to new repair strategies; training provided

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in appliance repair
  • Technical certification in appliance repair
  • Skilled in appliance diagnostics and preventative maintenance
