What is an appliance factory?

An appliance factory is a manufacturing facility where household and commercial appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, and dishwashers are produced. These factories typically handle the entire production process, which includes assembling, testing, and packaging appliances before distribution. Appliance factories may focus on specific types or brands of appliances and often employ engineers, assembly line workers, quality control specialists, and logistics personnel. The goal is to produce reliable, high-quality appliances that meet safety and efficiency standards.

What are the typical day-to-day responsibilities for employees working in an appliance factory?

Employees in an appliance factory typically participate in various stages of the manufacturing process, such as assembling appliance components, conducting quality checks, and packaging finished products. Depending on the specific role, you might work on an assembly line, operate machinery, or ensure that products meet company and safety standards. Collaboration with team members and supervisors is essential to maintain efficiency and address any production issues quickly. Safety protocols and adherence to production schedules are a key part of the daily work routine.

Pacific Appliance Group (PAG), a 29-year-old local business whose purpose is:“Making Your Life Easier by Doing Appliances Better!” welcomes you!

We all work together to become Hawaii’s Premier Appliance Provider. We are building a World Class Service Team that will “raise the bar” in our industry.

We specialize in appliances — that’s our sweet spot. If you want to belong to a team that does that well every day, we are a great fit for you.

Our customers are apartment managers, and contractors of large projects. If you have strong diagnostic skills, a mechanical mindset, and a desire to be the best of the best, this role will be a great fit.

You will love it here if you are:
  • Committed to Doing Good
  • People Centered
  • Problem Solvers (We find solutions that work!)

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with customers
  • Provide positive, professional customer experiences
  • Fill out paperwork completely and accurately
  • Care for and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and parts
  • Continuously learn and improve your technical skills

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:
  • Follow PAG Service Processes (including diagnosis, repair procedures, customer communication standards, documentation, and parts ordering)
  • Ensure 1st Time Completes
  • Properly complete all service documentation and submit daily
  • Properly track, maintain, and care for tools, equipment, property, vehicle, and parts inventory
  • Clearly communicate and explain diagnosis and resolution to customers in a way they understand
  • Continuously learn and improve technical skills across all major appliance brands
  • Be On Time — All the Time — and communicate proactively with the team regarding job status

In this role, you’ll be accountable to hit numbers each week of:
  • First-Time Completion Rate
  • On-Time Arrival Rate
  • 100% Complete and Accurate Paperwork Submitted Daily
  • Minimum Customer Satisfaction Score
  • Proper Parts Usage and Inventory Tracking
  • Training and education completion
  • Safety Standards

If you come to work, learn, and hit those numbers, you will be recognized and rewarded.
Our company runs on EOS purely. That means as a member of this team, you will have a leader who:

  • Makes sure you have the necessary tools
  • Acts with the greater good in mind
  • Delegates appropriately
  • Takes time to truly understand your role and how you can help the company
  • Makes expectations clear
  • Communicates well
  • Has effective meetings
  • Meets one-on-one with you weekly to mentor and coach
  • Rewards and recognizes your performance

Qualifications:
