Job description

Caregiver – Assisted LivingPay
  • $15.50–$18.25 per hour

  • Compensation based on experience

Shifts Available
  • 1st Shift: 6am-2:30 pm 
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm

  • 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30 am 

Part-time positions available
Must be available to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.


Position Purpose

The Caregiver provides direct care and support to residents in accordance with each resident’s Personal Service Plan. This position ensures residents are treated with dignity and respect while encouraging independence and maintaining a safe, supportive living environment.

No license is required for this position. We provide training for compassionate individuals who pass the state-required background screening.


Qualifications
  • No license required; training provided

  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

  • Ability to perform essential job functions physically and mentally

  • Ability to pass state-mandated criminal background screening


Essential Functions
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, dressing, eating, and socialization

  • Support residents in participating in life enrichment activities and events

  • Follow resident service plans for level of assistance and support needed

  • Observe and report changes in resident condition or needs

  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including bed making, linen changes, laundry, dusting, and trash removal

  • Use safe and proper techniques for cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment

  • Practice safe and sanitary hygiene at all times

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support living center operations
