ABSC has an exciting opening for you as our next Tier 3 Service Desk/System Administrator supporting DIAs National Digital Exploitation and OSINT Center (NDOC) (formerly NMEC) under our 10-year DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) contract. ABSC is looking for a highly skilled System Administrator with deep expertise in operating systems, hardware, GPU, and high-speed networking. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Linux and Windows systems administration, systems maintenance, and performance optimization while providing exceptional user support services.

This is a 100% on-site position. All work must be performed at the customer site in Bethesda at the Intelligence Community Campus (ICC-B).

Clearance Required for this role: Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI and Polygraph

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or higher degree. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant systems administration experience
  • Expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Experience with patching (yum/APT repositories) and virtual server builds.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management and security requirements derivation.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience working in air-gapped environments.
  • Ability to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification by the Government

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, and IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and *beats.
  • Experience with Active Directory in a Linux environment.
  • Background in maintaining AI/ML environments and large data storage solutions.

Salary is commensurate with experience. An estimated salary range for this requisition is: $95k-$175k. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
